MIWD Announces New Casement Platform Focused On Energy Efficient Design

GRATZ, PA- MI Windows and Doors released their new energy efficient and design focused casement platform into the window market this month. The company’s casement window has been designed to meet and exceed demands for long lasting energy efficiency, aesthetic appeal and price.

“The new casement has been designed from scratch as opposed to being modified; something that is more common in the industry. The benefit in this ground floor approach is that we did our homework, and literally created a casement window that answers the needs of our customers on every angle,” says Stan Sullivan, Eastern President of MI Windows and Doors, a leading window and door manufacturer in the U.S., based in Gratz, PA. “MI is a vertically integrated company as a whole so having our design engineers, testing facility, sales team focus groups and manufacturing process teams together on this, I am confident this is a homerun,” added.

Casement windows are commonly featured in rooms where the hinged open design and full ventilation is well supported, often in bathrooms, kitchens, offices but are a great, full window for any room. As with any single or double hung window, it is important to find windows that are thermally efficient, meet or exceed Energy Star® standards and are designed to add to your homes aesthetic appeal.

MI’s casement window will meet ENERGY STAR standards until 2013 and are offered for new construction and replacement designs.
